Planning your trip? Here's everything you need to reach the convention center easily, whether you're arriving by plane, train, or car.
By Plane
The closest major airport is Frankfurt Airport (FRA). From there, you can take a direct ICE train to Karlsruhe (the DB Event-Tickets discount applies to that leg too). The journey takes about one hour. Once at Karlsruhe Hbf, see local transit options to reach the convention center.
By Train
DB Event-Tickets for long-distance travel

Tickets for the convention dates become bookable in mid-October 2026, when DB releases the 2027 timetable. If you check the booking page earlier, you won't yet see trains for our travel window.
DB conductors may ask for proof of attendance during the journey. Sign in to your registration dashboard on your phone and show it: it displays your name and confirmed payment for Furvester.
From Karlsruhe Hbf to the venue
If you're arriving by train, head to Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof (central station). From there, you have several local transit options to the convention center:
- Tram / S-Bahn lines: S1, S4, S8, S11 or 2
- Travel time: Three stops / 2 minutes
- Stop: Get off at Kongresszentrum
By Car
Driving to the convention center is straightforward. The venue is located at Festplatz, 76133 Karlsruhe, and the closest parking is Parkhaus Kongress-Zentrum Karlsruhe, right below the plaza. This makes it easy to park and walk directly to the entrance.
