Art & Experience
Media Designer (Print)
We're looking for a media designer to handle print materials for the convention.
Responsibilities
- Design print assets such as stickers, banners, posters, and signage
- Prepare files for professional printing (correct formats, bleed, color profiles)
- Ensure visual consistency across all physical materials
Requirements
- Experience with print design (not just digital)
- Proficiency in common design tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or similar)
- Understanding of print production requirements (CMYK, DPI, bleed, etc.)
- Strong sense of layout and visual composition
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for events or conventions
- Ability to work within an existing visual style or brand
Notes
You'll take ownership of our print materials and help elevate the overall visual presence of the event.
Fursuit Lounge
Tech Assistant
We're looking for 3-4 Furs to help with Setup / Maintenance / Teardown of the Fursuitlounge.
Responsibilities
- Setup/Teardown of the Suitlounge Drying Racks, Storage and Technical Equipment
- Maintaining and repairing the Drying Racks and Cooling Basins if needed
Requirements
- Experience with power Tools / Tools
- Good Logical understanding
- Ability to work in a Team
- Not afraid to get dusty

IT
Web Developer
We're looking for a web developer to maintain and update our convention website.
Responsibilities
- Implement yearly design updates based on provided design assets
- Maintain and improve our existing React (SSR) + TypeScript codebase
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior
- Keep the codebase aligned with modern web standards and best practices
Requirements
- Solid experience with React and TypeScript
- Good understanding of server-side rendering concepts
- Strong CSS skills (no frameworks; custom styling)
- Attention to detail when translating designs into code
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance optimization and accessibility (a11y)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
Notes
You'll collaborate with our designer. Your focus is implementation, not creating designs from scratch.
Logistics
Logistics Helper
Do you want to help the Convention but still be able to enjoy it fully on the main days ? We are looking for 3-4 helpers for our logistics team.
Responsibilities
- Be available on early day (28.12.) in the morning and late day (3.1.) day until early evening
- Help load and unload at our storage location near Karlsruhe and at the STH
- Move materials in the STH to different locations
- Help other departments move and set up things like furniture inside the STH at the start and end of the event.
- Help pack Convention materials safely.
Requirements
- You need to be absolutely on time.
- Able to lift items with reasonable weight
- Able to work independently with your teammates and the logistics coordinator
- Able to move things safely inside the STH without damaging anything
Nice to Have
- Flexibility with your schedule (There is no strict shift plan for logistics)

Responsibilities
- Talking with Applicants
- Proactively reaching out to applicants and contacting them via email and personal
- End-to-end candidate management, from application intake through onboarding and post-onboarding support
Requirements
- Confidentiality in handling personal and sensitive data
- Independent working and ownership
- Professional and approachable conduct
- Attendee engagement and relationship building
Nice to Have
- Experience in candidate application management
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Proficiency in at least one additional language besides English
- Experience with Staffing at a Convention or other Volounteer work
Notes
You don't need to have any knowledge in Application management as we are able to train you with that and help with building experience
Stage Tech
DJ Coordinator
We're looking for a DJ coordinator to plan our dance programme and manage the DJ lineup.
Responsibilities
- Plan the dance programme for the con: which dances take place, when, and what style or theme they have
- Open and run the DJ application form and review incoming applications
- Select DJs and build the set schedule across all con days
- Communicate set times, changes, and technical needs to the DJs
- Liaise with Stage Tech, who operate the booth and sound
- Be the point of contact for DJs on-site during the dances
Requirements
- A good feel for dance floors and how different genres and DJs fit together
- Organizational skills and reliability
- Clear and friendly communication with DJs and other teams
- Fluent in English
- Available on-site during the dances
Nice to Have
- Own DJ experience
- Experience running dances at a convention, club, or party
- Contacts in the fandom DJ scene
- Fluent in German
Notes
Workload is light outside the con and concentrated around applications, scheduling, and the dances themselves. You don't run the tech; Stage Tech handles the booth, PA, and light.
Stage Operator
Responsibilities
- Operating shows, panels or dances at a console
- Preparing the event with the event holders
- Helping out with setup or teardown
Requirements
- Experience within at least one of those areas:
- Audio (Allen&Heath)
- Light (MA3)
- Video (Resolume Arena)
- Ability to work in a team
- Fluent in English
- Communication skills
Nice to Have
- Program skills for Audio / Light / Video
- Creating queues inside QLAB
- Fluent in German
Notes
You should help at either setup or teardown, if possible.
Streaming Team
Streaming Operator
We're looking for a Streaming operator to help produce fun and creative streams at the Con.
Responsibilities
- Live cutting cameras for streamed events
- Operating PTZ Cameras
- Supervising the Stream and recordings
Requirements
- Being creative with cameras
- Being very spontaneous and fast with live cuts
- Being able to focus on multiple cameras at the same time
Nice to Have
- Experience with multicam streaming and/or cameras
- Familiar with Vmix
- Familiar with Companion
Notes
You don't need to have any knowledge in proper Streaming/Broadcast production as we are able to train you with that and help with building experience
